The intervention of Un Ponte Per in Italy is transversal and closely linked to one objective: to support the active protagonism of new generations in generating models for an inclusive and solidarity-based society founded on the principles of environmental and social justice, transfeminism and ecopacifism. The work of UPP in Italy is made possible by a network of local Committees, formed by volunteersə engaged in different interventions and in close collaboration with networks of associations and local and territorial realities. The Committees' commitment is concentrated in the most vulnerable suburbs to improve the quality of educational services for children and young people through non-formal education workshops; meetings in schools on Peace Education, climate change, the fight against mafia phenomena, environmental protection. All the committees are also involved in trans-feminist, eco-pacifist and anti-militarist movements at local and national levels, and in the promotion of support, fundraising and mobilisation campaigns against wars and conflicts.
