The Turin Local Committee was established in 2016 by bringing together people of different ages and backgrounds. It currently has seven volunteers, who participate in various activities. The Committee's initiatives were launched through the organisation of a series of book presentations on West Asia and Iraq, where Un Ponte Per has been present for over 30 years. Since 2016, it has been involved in organising public initiatives, Peace Education projects, concerts and conferences, particularly on the themes of demilitarisation, opposition to wars and conflicts, and the promotion of peace. It also organises fundraising campaigns to support populations that suffer wars, conflicts, or are involved in difficult migration processes. The Committee has an active collaboration with the University of Turin through the 'Citizenship Project'. It is one of the main promoters of the activities of the 'Coordination of Citizens, Bodies and Local Institutions against Atomic Wars and Terrorism (AgiTe)' and participates in the activities of the 'Citizens' Coordination against War and those who arm it'.
