SUPPORT THE PEOPLE IN LEBANON FLEEING ISRAEL’S ATTACKS
On March 2, 2026, Israel launched intense airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, southern Lebanon, and the Bekaa Valley. Within hours, tens of thousands of people were forced to flee their homes and seek refuge in schools and public buildings that were turned into reception centers.
Shortly afterward, the Israeli army ordered the immediate evacuation of the entire south of the country, in violation of international law and leaving the most vulnerable people without protection: the elderly, the sick, people with disabilities, and families without the means to move.
Donate now to bring urgent aid to people forced to flee.

“The population most affected by the attacks is that of southern Lebanon. Since last night there have also been heavy bombings in Beirut. This military action represents yet another operation against Lebanon, and it is primarily the civilian population that is paying the price. At the moment, many people have moved from the south of the country and found refuge in schools.
Un Ponte Per will continue to stand by the civilian population suffering the effects of war. We are mobilizing in the shelters where needs are increasing, to provide urgent assistance and essential supplies.”
David Ruggini, Head of Mission of Un Ponte Per in Beirut.
By donating today, you help displaced children and families receive food, water, hygiene kits, diapers, and mattresses to cope with the difficult conditions in the school shelters hosting them.
Displaced families from southern Lebanon have poured into public buildings made temporarily available by local authorities within just a few hours. Conditions remain extremely precarious: overcrowded spaces, shortages of essential goods, and insufficient sanitation facilities. Even in an emergency, every family has the right to minimum standards of well-being.
Right now, every contribution can make a difference for those who have lost their homes, safety, and livelihoods.
