Since 2011, the war in Syria has claimed more than 500,000 lives and displaced 8 million people from all over the world.
The political transition following the fall of the Assad regime in December 2024 has rekindled hopes for peace and a possible return for millions of displaced people and refugees. However, humanitarian needs still remain very high.
Out of 21 million people, about 14.6 million depend on humanitarian aid.
They need all our support.
Make a difference today with a donation.

Today our interventions guarantee free care, maternal and child care, psychological support, protection and access to clean water and sanitation to over 1 million and 600 thousand people.
We have rehabilitated destroyed hospitals and wards, trained local medical staff and activated specialized services for women and children. We also operate in refugee camps, supporting basic clinics and mobile units in the most remote and hard-to-reach areas.
In parallel, we support local communities in environmental health, medical waste management and safe disposal.
Through our Safe Spaces, we offer protection and psychosocial support to women and children who have survived or are at risk of violence.
We are present in 24 health facilities, continuing to walk alongside the Syrian population, every day.

By donating to Un Ponte Per you can guarantee free treatment to displaced people in Syria, where damaged hospitals, insufficient staff and limited access to services make it difficult to receive essential care.
Your support also protects women and boys and girls at risk of violence, abuse or dropping out of school, offering safe spaces and psychosocial support to start over.
With your support, and thanks to the invaluable work of our colleagues and local partners, we will continue to do everything possible to assist the population—just as we always have, for as long as necessary.
