We believe that building peace is not a utopia, but the only possible way
Peace is not the absence of conflict, and wars continue even when the weapons are silent. The effects of conflicts and the consequences they cause in communities are very long-term. Countries that emerge from them are often torn apart by fractures and sectarian violence. For this reason, in our interventions we pay great attention to the work of recomposition between communities, to mend social bonds, relationships of trust and dialogue. We are concretely committed to programs that focus on peace education in schools, mediation and co-existence, supporting communities in overcoming their traumas, highlighting the transformative role that young people and women have in these processes.
