We believe in a future where humanitarian intervention is no longer necessary
When humanitarian crises erupt in the contexts in which we operate, we address them to support the populations and people we have been walking with for years. Trying to respond to immediate needs, we assist populations under attack because it is our duty. But we believe that humanitarian intervention must always be accompanied by the action of denouncing human rights violations and by the commitment to address the root causes of conflicts and the political conditions that generated them. Even in emergency management, our priority is to support the local response, supporting the work of our partners. In responding to crises, we always imagine development and strengthening actions, to build together a future in which our intervention is no longer needed.
